We had a great experience working with Dr. Pickens for our sons surgery. He was communicative & answered all our questions
I’m very disappointed in how when my son had surgery Dr. Chandler did not come to talk with me or my family in regards of my child surgery, which was very unprofessional. Also giving my son only two days to recover and return back to school was not acceptable due to every child don’t recovers the same . I wouldn’t have gave no stars but unfortunately I had to to even give a review .
I’ve sat on this awhile but we’ve been having a medical issue and have been referred to peds surgery several times by several doctors. They have been less than helpful. Every single time. This last time we walked in and Dr. Chandler before hearing about the issue looks at my son and goes in an extremely rude manner goes “This is what we are worried about” like we wasted his time. Dr Gates is by far the most doctor you could ever ask for. He csred about his patients and always has their best interest at heart. He has so much knowledge. Thank you for everything you did for my baby girl. I will never forget you.
Dr. Gates was amazing. He always takes time to explain what’s going on and makes sure that you understand. Very down to earth and helpful. He found an inguinal hernia that others had missed, preformed the surgery on my son, and now my son is healed and the surgery really made a huge difference! The staff was great, they all seem to really care about their patients and keeping the parents informed and included.
