While our experience with the staff at the office was positive, I would definitely encourage potential patients to ask about costs in advance. I was lucky that my daughter only required a brace to repair a fracture (that a nurse practitioner helped her fasten on her wrist), but the billing was more representative of setting a major break with a cast ($800 after insurance). I disputed the billing code used since it didn't seem to apply to our situation but was told there was no other code to use.

My appointment was at 8:30am with Steven Schulenborg at Pediatric Orthopedic Associates because my son broke a bone in his wrist. We sat for over an hour and waited for Steven. He chose to see the whyte clients whose appointments were at 9:30 and 10:00am and we were told to just wait. This place is not for African Americans! I was pushed aside and felt as if I was treated like an African American during segregation. The “privilege”I experienced here is real. In my opinion, Steven and Pediatric Orthopedic Associates doesn’t h... read more

Dr Pendelton is great for an adult who wants in and out and doesn't care about bedside manner. Kids/Teens or sensitive aldults find the lack of friendliness or personal care harsh. Otherwise he knows what he is doing and gets the job done. For me and my daughter, we rate this at 2 stars.

Backstory I’m 7 months pregnant and I’ve been having the worst pain ever in my right hand so I went to an urgent care near me. Ended up booking my appointment here after calling 10 different orthopedics. The pain in my hand is unbearable like I can’t pick up anything etc. Had an appt and the day of when I’m on the way they called and said I have to have an x ray cd . So I called the urgent care they don’t have a way to scan the X-rays . So I called them back to let them know there was no way for me to get the cds. They are v... read more

Not satisfied. Dr. has 0 bedside manner with children. My daughter is 5 & he spoke to her as if she was 1/2 way grown. She was crying after she had something removed (which he himself said was a normal reaction) & he was trying to explain something to her. She was shaking her head no (bc she was genuinely scared after being unexpectedly hurt, she’s 5). He spoke to her in the firmest manner like she was overreacting & not listening on purpose. I personally wouldn’t have chosen this office, but it was referred by the ER & we h... read more
