Can’t say enough good things about Dr. Chen and her staff - especially Ellen. We had an emergency situation with our daughter and the team went above and beyond for us. They worked us in immediately (we had to wait, but they were very upfront about this) and also fought on our behalf when insurance initially denied our claim. Dr. Chen was great with our daughter and kept her calm throughout the office visits and surgery. Thank you all for your help!
Every single time we have an appointment, we are waiting 30+ minutes. Dr. Chen has gotten snippy with my young children on a few occasions. She has made a few recommendations on surgeries for one of my children, but I felt it was best to wait. After some waiting time, she has changed her mind and said the surgeries weren't necessary unless I wanted them down the road. I have given this office multiple chances, trying to be understanding. Unhappy with Dr Chen. Took our 4 year old and she was nice to her one sec and downright mean the other sec. Makes me think she doesn’t have the patience to deal with kids.She prescribed glasses and when asked if this will help ( with strabismus) she said “i dont think so”! When asked again why we are prescribing it if it doesn’t then she said “ it could. We never know unless we try it”. She could have said this when we asked her the first time. Left us confused.
