They did not take any of my concerns seriously after telling me on phone to come in right away. They told me that if I ask my mom for help with a nighttime panic attack my phone should be taken away. I feel worse after being here. The person doing my psych evaluation told me I need to sleep at night instead of having panic attacks after I told her I cannot sleep. I have had no resources since I left and all of the things I went in for are worse. The lady called someone else in the hospital who was screaming a little mess. Pl... read more

My child was placed in group therapy and one of the leaders insisted that each person not only announce their pronouns, but write said pronouns in parenthesis in the group meeting. I watched as multiple individuals tried to bypass it and she went back and directly confronted each parent and child, insisting that they participate in pronoun announcement. They enforced this like they’re the LGBTQ+ police; one child “identified” as a “they/them” and frankly I feel it is directly harmful to have my child watching as adults play ... read more

i was at an all time low. staff didn’t take my feelings seriously and when i told them about how i felt suicidal they kind of just brushed it aside, and stayed way too optimistic in what they say. a tech even said “just choose happy.” nobody told me miracle whip wasn’t whipped cream. i ate it with my pancakes.

This is Angel here. I've recently been to this hospital I was in the ER in Denver, I think and then I was transferred to auroras mental health children's hospital. I was here for 2 weeks because suicide risk and self-harm. The staff are pretty nice and the food is pretty decent. The kids I was around well we got around alright. Most of us were in there for pretty much the same reasons. The rooms are fine their pretty, blank-ish, like a hospital.
