My family has been with Dr. Jan for six years and we all think she is an amazing doctor. She takes the time to listen and examine my children at each visit. She will do whatever it takes to make our children feel secure and calm such as sitting on the floor them, talking with them, hugging them, or rocking them. I trust my children in Dr. Jan's care and taking my children to her for many years to come.
I feel very lucky to have found Dr Jan. My husband and I recently moved to the area with our 2 year old, and needed a new pediatrician. I am extremely happy with my experience with Dr Jan. She is great with my toddler. Dealing with a group Ped practice in the past, I was not used to such personal one on one time with the actual doctor. Dr Jan used very creative and unique techniques to keep my 2 year old happy and at ease, which I truly appreciate. I would recommend her to anyone.
There are two secretaries that work for Dr. Jan. The one that is there the most isn't very friendly. She also sometimes brushes things off. But the other secretary who works less is nice as pie. As for Dr. Jan, basically a very good doctor. She sometimes tends to be quick to diagnose something as a certain problem and be very insistent about it, only to change her mind later. But despite these minor drawbacks, we'll stick with Dr. Jan. The kids love her. Just don't be turned off by the secretary.
