Very Disappointing and Insensitive Experience I had a very upsetting experience during my 6-year-old son’s annual checkup. My child was anxious about the visit (as many kids are) and was visibly distressed, crying and upset during the exam. Instead of showing patience or empathy, the doctor seemed annoyed and judgmental toward both me and my child. My child has needed a prior authorization since November 2024. Phone calls after phone calls and still no response . When I finally get someone to work on it they just send something else instead of working on the original request. The alternative that was sent, now needs a prior authorization. Which then begins the process again. The quality of this office has regressed greatly in the last year or so. Responses are very slow and patient needs are going without being met.

Not a professional doctor, he was complaining about 16 months son crying when he was checking him. It didn’t feel like he has the patience to deal with toddlers, and we could tell he was annoyed. Toddlers who only go to the hospital for a routine checkup/shots will typically cry when someone new is trying to check their ears, eyes..but somehow Dr. Grella didn’t understand that, and was giving us a bad attitude.
