Dr. Hicks and his staff are wonderfully kind and reassuring to little ones - my daughter has been coming here since she was 1, and will be 6 next month. Thanks to their caring nature, she has no fear of dental hygiene or dentist appointments. They provide a clean, comfortable and welcoming dental office for children to learn how important dental health is. We love it there!
Dr. Hicks is incredibly informational, gentle and to the point. My daughter is only one years old and I had some concerns about her jaw development. Dr. Hicks answered all my questions in a very timely manner. He is also super gentle, he cleaned food out from a one year olds tooth and made it look easy. He went over tooth eruption sequence, how to brush her teeth, the frequency and how to handle teething. The entire team was friendly, patient and professional with my four year old . Doctor James was great!
When she was little, my kid was literally labeled a “problem patient” by other dentists due to her sensory and processing issues. I knew Dr Hicks was our dentist as soon as the visit started. Dr. Hicks is a kid whisperer who gets results. The staff is delightful and the office is calm yet kid-friendly. We’ve been coming for almost ten years and now I’m sad because she’s just about to age out.
