Dr. Hobbs and Pediatric Dental Associates are absolutely amazing! I am a dentist myself and worked in the Fort Wayne area for over 6 years. I would always send my pediatric referrals to Dr. Hobbs. Patients always returned happy and the quality of his dental work was excellent. We have since moved away but when my little boy needed the hands of a pediatric dental specialist we flew back for Dr. Hobbs to take care of him. I highly recommend Dr. Hobbs and Pediatric Dental Associates to anyone.
Dr. Gentz is wonderful, she is such a calm and positive presence, which helped my daughter feel comfortable at the dentist. It is beyond worth it to bring your kiddos to a pediatric dentist :)
Front desk is very rude and unprofessional!! They hung up the phone on us like a mad teenager would do. Also, they don't let parents come back with their children while they are being treated. I am not a fan of that at all. There is no reason why I shouldn't be allowed to be with my young child. I can't understand this policy and they don't have a clear reason for doing this to parents.
I would strongly discourage anyone from using this dental office. Our experience has been incredibly frustrating and, frankly, unacceptable. They require full payment upfront, yet fail to submit insurance claims properly or in a timely manner. We have spent months trying to get a routine claim processed so we can be reimbursed, and they have been unable to complete what should be a basic administrative task. I really struggle with the fact that I get kicked out from being with my child during their exam and procedures. My child was nervous and in tears and I basically shooed away and told "everything will be fine". Sure it will but my child needs me and by barring me off from being nearby doesn't sit well with me. I even went back in after I paid my bill and they told me they'd get me if they needed me. Why can I not sit with my child? Do you not think this causes an issue with a child who is nervous?
