If you are not planning on giving your kids ALL the vaccines on the CDC schedule, you will have a hard time finding a pediatric office in the Knoxville area that will take them. Luckily Pediatric Choice does not have this onorous requirement, and the providers seem to be excellent Whether or not you plan on vaccinating your kids, I would suggest avoiding practices that require vaccination as a condition of enrollment. I have known Dr. Amer for over 20 years. We had an unexpected addition to our family 2 years ago so we looked for Dr Amer. Love his new facility in Lenoir City. He was and still is a great pediatrition. We also see his NPs and love them too. Highly recommend.

The man is pure evil and a liar. He talks to women like trash and tries to set them up to have their children taken away. He is also a coward that won’t talk to someone when they try to talk to him about the actions he takes against families. He was very upset that my wife talked to the lactation consultants at the health department rather than the one he wanted. Update: We have been here a few years and seen Dr. Amer several times now. He's attentive, friendly, intelligent, and doesn't over prescribe antibiotics which is appreciated. I'm really grateful for our experience with this office so far. We generally see a nurse practitioner, who are always very thorough and kind. The office is nice and plays Mickey on the tv which my son loves.
