My 15-month-old had an appointment scheduled for 9:20 AM, but we weren’t seen until 10:20 AM — a full hour past our slot. What made it worse was watching at least three groups of patients who arrived after us get called back before we did, with no explanation offered by staff. When we finally got in, the nurse seemed unsure of which vaccines were due at this stage, which was concerning — tracking a child’s immunization schedule is a core part of pediatric care, not something that should be uncertain in the room. They really need to work on their wait times. Even after 1 whole hour of wait. No doctor. And its not the first time. Every single time its the same story. I finally walked out today after the wait, without seeing the doctor. I will never bring my kids back here.
Please do not go here and see Kathleen Knoebel. I went to her as a child and I am all sorts of messed up from it. When I was two, my parents thought I was autistic so they asked her to test me. She said if I played fine, I was fine. I was not fine. At 19 years old, I got diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. One of the signs of autism I had as a kid was toe walking. I love the level of care and dedication this team puts into their patients. We have followed Ms. Pickrel & Ms. Sharra from the Sugar Land location to the Katy location. Distance doesn’t matter when your child loves their provider & mom has peace of mind knowing she will get better soon!
