I took my daughter here for her annual wellness check. I have different insurance this year but the clinic did not inform me that they don't take Aetna. The bill was $611.70 when wellness used to be 100% covered by my insurance. In addition, it seems they did several tests that they never did before. They had her look at an eye chart (my vision plan covers eye exams) and then charged $43.52 for that. It was just done standing in the hallway. Dr. Heisune and marcelina are the best. My son is autistic and has a hard time at the dentist. I highly recommend if you have a autistic child you try out UW pediatrics they are the best!!
For the most part, the nurses and doctors here are great. We loved our primary physician. I have a lot of respect and empathy for healthcare workers. They have a tough, and often thankless, job. However, there is a single person at this office who is a blight on the institution. Nurse Leann. If you’re considering bringing your newborn or infant here, run — don’t walk — in the opposite direction. My experience was beyond disappointing. Instead of feeling supported, cared for, or reassured, I left every visit more stressed, more overwhelmed, and more frustrated.
