Really not pleased with the service anymore, the caregivers are great but the last 5 or 6 times I've needed to call and get something moving its just voicemail. Never get to talk to anybody anymore. Considering there's always somebody at the front desk, there really isn't an excuse not to answer the damn phone. So I'll continue sitting in the ER with my kids because nobody calls back which will cost a nice 300 bucks I don't have.
I seriously question Dr Margaret Stefani's commitment to her own practice's philosophy. Their own website says their antibiotics practice philosophy is to not ".. not overuse antibiotics. We educate families on appropriate use of antibiotics, but follow evidence-based guidelines and don’t automatically treat ear pain or a green snotty nose with antibiotics. My wife came in with our two kids for their annual checkups required for school. She was given several forms to fill out, including a “caregiver assessment,” and no one explained that this form was optional. Later, we found out they charged $50 per assessment — $100 total for both kids despite the fact it was for a caregiver. Couldn’t love this practice more!
I can’t say enough about Andi the nurse at Crystal Lake pediatrics. I had a difficult issue today and she walked me through step-by-step going out of her way to keep in contact with me to resolve the issue. We had been with Pediatric Associates for nearly 20 years with all our children. I’ve recommended Pediatric associates to many other families. This was probably our last contact with this office since my children are older now and I’m so grateful it was with Andi!
