I’m in the market for a pediatrician as I’m new to the area. This practice is down the street from my house and my daughter is in need of a physical for sports. I called to see if I could get a sports physical and I was immediately questioned if am I just looking for a physical or am I looking for care and I said “well for now the physical and we’ll see how my daughter feels at this practice” and the representative told me that if I wasn’t planning on staying that he wasn’t allowed to book an appointment for me. Very professional and friendly staff, quick appointment scheduling time, short wait time, and very child-friendly environment!
I’m really disappointed with this practice. We’ve been coming here for 7 years, and all three of my kids saw Dr. Linda George. She refused to sign a daycare health form because my baby couldn’t get vaccines due to being sick, and even suggested giving a vaccine the same day she prescribed antibiotics. I called the office later that day and another doctor signed the form without any problem. I fully vaccinate my children, but I won’t vaccinate a sick child. After 7 years, I’ve decided to leave.
Dr. Hopper is the sole reason I visited the Duke Street location for the first time. However, I’m giving this location a 1-star rating not because of the doctor, but because of the RN, Anjun. I informed Anjun that my daughter was on iron medication prescribed because her Iron was low when they pricked her finger in the past and that was something I wanted to discuss with the doctor during the visit.
