Dr McQuaid is not my children's regular doctor, but we have had to see her a handful of times when their doctor was unavailable. Each appointment left me wondering why we even went in the first place and I leave with more questions than I showed up with. I recently had an appointment for my daughters two month check up. At first everything seemed like a normal doctors visit. However, things got a little sketchy when I mentioned to Dr. Mcquaid that I would not be getting my daughter vaccinated today. I informed the Dr. that I wanted to wait until my child was a few months older before I had her vaccinated. At this point things became very uncomfortable. Dr McQuaid was my pediatrician as well as my fiancé’s that is why we chose her for our three children. Over the years her bed side manner has changed tremendously ... she doesn’t really listen, she’s rude and overall not nice to the point where as my children get older they notice and voice their opinions as we leave the appts ... on top of this you will find yourself waiting at least 45 minutes to an hour just for her to walk into the room!
