Person working in billing is very rude and condescending. She would not even let me finish explain my situation. Luckily I was transferred to Alison who was very helpful and listened to my concerns. Issue was resolved within a few minutes of talking to Alison.

Never got one bill from them. Just a call from a very rude nasty collection agent. My son had surgery and every bill came through and I paid them just fine. I offered to pay $75 a month until the 400 bill was paid off but they are refusing that. He respond "you dont have 400 right now in full!?" They are stating they will turn me over to collections if its not paid in full....now. Ruddiest, most heartless people I have ever dealt with.

They sent my account to collections due to their negligence of not submitting the correct billing codes to my insurer. They were advised to resubmit the claim which they never did. Finally I was able to get Aetna to resubmit the claim myself after I explained that the billing department was not being cooperative. They are still claiming I owe even after they received payment and I have an EOB showing that Aetna paid them in full. I have filed a complaint on them so hopefully they will get their act together. Apparently before surgery I should have asked my anesthesiologist how they felt about my particular health insurance (which is in network at Nortons and was no problem for every other health care contractor at Nortons). They are billing me in violation of my health insurance explanation of benefits. They have a contractual disagreement with an insurance company and instead of resolving it with them, they are attempting to pass on their costs to the end consumer. Despicable. Billing office is rude and hard to work with. The reason they don't have an online option to pay is because, even if you are able to negotiate a monthly payment; they will badger you every time you call to pay the full amount due.
