Pedal Works is thee hidden gem spin studio in Kingston! And we are sooo lucky to have such a qualified and caring teacher in this city. Martha has built a beautiful community of staff and members. Everything from the Spanish Lattés to the hand picked local goods to the quality Spinning bikes to the ambiance created when you sit down after a killer spin class to enjoy convo and coffee, it all seeps with intention & love. Pedal Works opened just a few months before I moved to the neighbourhood, and it really feels like it was fate. When I first started going to the cafe, I was pregnant with my second child and had my then 2.5 year old in tow. My oldest is a rambunctious kid, and Martha and her staff were so welcoming and friendly with our family. I love the atmosphere of the cafe. Soothing music, wonderful lattes, delicious baked goods and food. The owner, Martha, is very personable and nice. There are many different artists displaying their wares. Very comfortable atmosphere! Highly recommend! Martha is a wonderful host, and Pedal Works is the perfect environment for our crochet/knit group on Thursday afternoons.
After stumbling upon Pedal Works Cafe for a meeting, I instantly fell in love with the vibe, coffee and amazing eclectic selection of LOCAL art, gifts and items. I’ve since started attending the Spin classes and yoga-style stretching. It’s more than a class and a coffee shop, it’s like a group of friends who have a vibrant and relaxing place to meet, connect and share. Owner Martha is an inspiration and does a lot to include all aspects of her community and beyond. Highly recommend a visit!
The atmosphere is a Ten in this little hole in the wall cafe. The decor is welcoming and warm. Marth the owner is very polite and pleasant to speak with. The coffee and croissant was fantastic.
