We always have so much fun visiting this play café! Food and drinks are delicious and the staff is always friendly.
I was really disappointed with our experience at Peculiar Play Cafe. My toddler has severe food allergies and carries an EpiPen. I explained our situation and asked if they could make a one-time accommodation to allow her to eat the safe food I prepared at home. I also made it clear that I would still be purchasing food and drinks from the café. We had a party of eight people, all of whom planned to buy food there. Placed an order for coffee and it took over 30 minutes. It looks like a great place for kids to play and if you dont have other things to do for the day. It also wasn't very busy while waiting for drinks to be made, just very small kitchen area.
This is such a cute little place and I predict it becoming very successful as more people find out about it. It’s very family friendly and I like the peace of mind you get from your child being able to play close by while you eat. Will definitely be a good spot to come to from time to time when I’m in the area.
Fun third space! This has a more fleshed out cafe than most other play cafes. I visited with my toddler and the grandparents. They had smoothies and a breakfast bagel while I had a latte with pizza bagel. They were able to make our food without any dairy, even confirming first while making our order. You scan QR code to order and pay. It was pretty loud at first with a couple older kids but it calmed down. They also play music and it can be a lot of sounds.
