Very disappointed with my experience. I absolutely loved my optometrist. I did a lot of research to find a local family owned business, I usually go to eyeglass world. My husband was very adamant that I find a certified optometrist and did the research and found me this place. It took a month for me to get my contacts. I had to reach out to be told the order never got put in. They then arrived 2 days later. I’m baffled by this, it’s literally my EYES, my vision! We've been going to Akers for over 5 years. We followed them after they moved to their new office. Dr Hagstrom is professional as well as personable. She knows us and our individual eyecare needs. Her fitting and sales team are easy to talk to and they are so helpful in making choices on frames and what looks good on each of us. I would recommend Akers to friends and neighbors.

Always polite and thorough vision examination. It is reassuring that they have a history of retina photographs to compare every year and make sure my vision continues to be without any issues related to age, diabetes or high blood pressure. I look forward to taking their evaluation to my primary care doctor every year. The retina scan means something to the doctors. It means nothing is going wrong to me.
The staff is always amazing here! I moved away and now travel 3-1/2 hours to come back each year! Could not recommend any place more for your eye health.
