Well, we have lived in Avondale for 12 yrs. Pearls has always been a good place to have drinks and dinner. About 2 yrs ago a new manager and chef came in, the food was off the chain.... Tonight, not so much. Chef has moved to Charlotte, GM opened his own place. We won't being going back. Oh, plus they raise the prices AGAIN. Sorry to spend 75$ and be disappointed? Never again. Good luck!!
A stop in Charleston not to be missed. Great happy hour, shrimp, oysters, shooters, etc. Friendly service and good way to say hello to SC low country.
The bar is more of a 'bait and switch' operation when you order ginger ale and get sprite. Must be some SC governmental agency that should be interested in this?
Great food. Great service. It was a recommendation by our hotel staff that made us try and we were so glad we did. Absolutely outstanding.
Food was great. But the bar tender was substituting Spite for ginger ale in my husbands drinks. So I ask for a glass of ginger ale and watch him get it from the Sprite fountain very dissapointed
