I'll just start from the beginning & go from there. So when I called to schedule I made it clear I didn't want my medications to be taken over. I said that I wanted rescreened for ADHD,anxiety,depression etc. I even clarified that whatever we speak about in session is confidential/my doctor won't know. This gave me the indication that it was going to be similar to therapy sessions as it would indicate to anyone. I am enjoying my experience here.
Due to an insurance change I had to find a new psychiatrist. Usually it's really difficult to find and book somewhere as a new patient. I've had several psychiatrists before and she is by far my favorite. For my intake appointment she took a lot of time thoroughly asking me questions and listening to me. She took me seriously and respected my experience, and set me up with medication refills for the dosage that I have the best experience with.
