Went to Watertown NY sight 2 years ago. Left there and still had difficulty seeing distances. Called and they said give it time to adjust. Never got better. Moved to another state and decided to try a new Eye Center. I was told I had cataracts and with their removal, my eyes would be fine and glasses would probably not be needed! So Much for Pearl Vision. Well, I had my surgeries and I don't need glasses any longer. Surgery done the month of July. This store is crooked and incompetent.
UPDATE: The "rebuttal" below is Pearle Vision defensively doubling down on claiming I never made an appointment, that I "just talked about it with the employee". (That doesn't even make sense, nevermind that I had someone else with me who literally watched me make the appointment.) It's also untrue that I was "yelling and cursing" at their staff. The staff and Dr. at Pearle Vision are outstanding. The girls out front are always helpful when trying to pick out new frames. I was told at least 2 weeks for my glasses and was surprised to get a call a week later that my glasses were ready. Being able to come back to them anytime I need an adjustment or new nose pads is a plus. Highly recommend!!!
My husband, Pat, and I have been client of Dr. Fred Bressler and clients of Pearle Vision center for over 35 years. We are utterly and absolutely love these people. Kim Schuler, our optometrist, knows exactly what she’s doing and what to do. We trust her totally. Dr. Fred is fantastic. His sense of humor is great, his smile is great, and his knowledge is even better. We don’t have a lot of choices here in Watertown New York. But we do like Pearle Vision and will always recommend them.
I can describe my local Pearle Vision location in Watertown, NY like this: incompetent, no integrity, and no empathy. I went to this location in person (with my husband, as we were in town) to make an appointment for an eye exam. I spent 10 minutes giving my new patient information (name, email, phone, insurance, etc.) to the employee and she scheduled me for a couple weeks out.
