This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at an eye doctor—and I’ve been to many eye doctors. I showed up with insurance and was charged over $100 upfront before any exams which was an exam for glasses and contacts. I have never had to pay before an appointment, especially not that much when my insurance typically covers at least most of the exam.
