Staff was very caring and helpful and new facilities were very nice
The dr was concerned, that I might have a blood clot. He was awesome checking me and checking in with my surgeon from LA. They took some blood and ran a urinalysis. After that the nightmare started. I lay in a fairly hard bed for 12 hrs with no one looking at my feet or offering me one bite to eat. I was there 12 hrs because, I was told I that I had to be transported via ambulance. My wife wanted to take me to Lakeview hospital because it was taking so long and we were concerned about a clot, but was told not to do that. So ... read more
It was fast and quick. Everyone was so nice
At 77 all falls are difficult, painful and scarry. I've been a nurse for 50+ years. So when I hit the concrete slab like a pole axed steer, all I could think of was " this is not going to end well Update: Got myself to the hospital and the Poplarville team sprang into action like a well oiled machine! From admitting to the time that I was assisted put with the wheel chair all were dedicated to respond quickly and effectively to take care of all my needs.
