I brought my parents visiting from out of town, and it was a great introduction to Richmond! Nestled in the charming Carytown, Pearl is an upscale but rustic raw bar. I highly recommend the crab dip, mahi tacos, or lobster pasta!
So far I've had the baked VA oysters (a new favorite), a wonderful steak, lobster pasta, Caesar salad and creme brûlée. It has all been fast and very tasty. Sitting in the back is usually pretty quiet, but if you want a more social atmosphere you can sit up front near the bar.
Great food and service. The only issue I had was the hostess kept asking to take our plates and we were not done eating.
My only complaint would be a tiny piece of shell that was in my Oyster Po Boy. But the food was delicious. Gotta try the crispy brussels sprouts.
