RecommendedWe have twin boys with cashew allergies so it's always pretty risky to go into an ice cream shop, not knowing how well the staff has been trained nor if they can make accommodations to mitigate the allergy risk. I asked if a fresh scoop could be used and the young man working indicated yes and asked me whether we wanted the ice cream to come from a fresh bucket too, in order to avoid cross contamination that may have occurred in the existing open buckets.
