Very disappointed with an extremely rude sales person. Maybe because he saw a bag on my arm from Maui Divers that I had with me because I’d bought a few expensive pieces and did not want to leave the bag in the car unattended. He started off by saying that the Pearl in oyster we picked from Maui Divers is fresh water and theirs are salt water which were far better and so on. I did this many years ago and had a good experience, so I wanted to take my 10 yr old. I read many reviews so I was a bit nervous but felt prepared to pay attention. Our family picked 4 oysters, got 4 pearls, bought 1 necklace and pendant and asked that the others were not to be drilled. Until a later time.We had no problems at all and had a very nice gal that worked there. it's taken 4 months just to get an estimate of how much my repair would cost. still waiting in the repair ti be made as of Nov. 4th
I feel like I am going to break out in tears just writing this. I had a horrible experience to say the least! I was so excited and opened my oyster to reveal a beautiful light pink pearl. The guy was VERY pushy and even though I said multiple times over and over that I did not want a setting, he pushed me into one. when I left, I opened my bag to see my beautiful pearl and it wasn't the same one. the pearl in my bag was cream, and had a hole drilled in it which I specifically asked not to have it drilled.
