Rotten Pear The bar is very cliquey, with insuders getting good service. The food is mediocre and overpriced. Altogether, this is a good place to watch the downfall of california cuisine.
food is great small portions though, and the prices are sky high. same owner as uncle chung's has done a great job of bringing something BETTER to pinole though it is hardly affordable.
Nice Environment if you dont want to chat This is a good restaurent its french / asian inspired cuisine. It can be noisy most of the time so it isnt really a good place to be able to sit and have a conversation but if you enjoy the energy of a bustling place this is for you.
Pear Street is bright, clean and modern. Patrons can see into the kitchen at what the chefs are doing.
