We had a wonderful experience working with Chonon and Pear. He was friendly, helpful, and straightforward—which all really helped us in securing our first apartment. We also found their application process easy to navigate. He was communicative from the moment that we inquired about the listing to the moment we signed our lease. First I would like to start my review off by saying they are really active on social media with their listings and updates which is a plus! however in terms of communication through email they are highly lacking or being discriminative ! I’ve emailed countless of times about different listings however it seems like the moment I mention I have a housing voucher I am met with either silence or I am told that the property I’m interested in “isn’t ready to view” however on social media they will constantly promote the property ... read more

Working with Octavio was a different level. From the first message, I felt like he actually cared — not in a sales-y way, but genuinely. He was calm, respectful, and really listened to what I needed. It honestly felt like he was searching for a place for himself — that’s how much attention he put into everything. No pressure, no rush. Just pure professionalism with a personal touch. I want to give a huge thank you to Pear NYC, especially Breanna! It was such a pleasure working with her.
