I keep getting text messages from this place. I have called 5 different times and there is always a long wait. I tried leaving a message and it hangs up on me. In my messages it does not say who it's for or what it's for, which tells me this is not a professional place. I tried canceling this appointment, but they want me to call to cancel, but yet they don't answer the phones. I will not be paying for an appointment I've been trying to cancel to this very unprofessional place.

Peak Medical Group in Calgary is a lackadaisical and apathetic😒 private owned for-profit company that operates many specialty medical clinics, its services are publicly funded and are covered by Alberta Health Care. They operate multiple locations throughout Alberta; their fees are covered by our💰 tax dollars. It is not right that they use our money for hosting their own😵‍💫 private social events. I am incredibly unhappy with my experience at this clinic. I was referred here by my family doctor, and had my appointment on Nov. 14th. This appointment was booked several months out to help diagnose some chronic nerve pain I have been experiencing, and I was of course looking forward to finally getting some forward movement on my health issues. I was referred to Dr. Villanueva and while I've only had one appt so far (so, will update this with more info after subsequent appts), he was kind, understanding, open to tackling things from a number of lenses including a functional medicine standpoint, and engaged avenues myself and my other doctors had never considered trying. For the first time in a long time, I am feeling hopeful about making some progress on my condition. Thank you Dr. Villanueva and Peak Medical!
