I started seeing Dr. Spencer Zimmerman at Peak Brain and Body in January for POTS after struggling with headaches, dizziness, fatigue, and other symptoms that were affecting my quality of life. From the beginning, Dr. Zimmerman and his team have been incredibly compassionate and supportive. What sets Dr. Zimmerman apart is the time he takes to explain how POTS works and how it relates to my specific symptoms. I went in for history of concussions, and dysautinomia and p.o.t.s from long covid. Dr. Zimmerman helped me get my life back. I was so fatigued I couldn't stand more than 15/20 minutes at a time without fainting. I was having seizures multiple times a day I had horrible brain fog and was, at 33 ,planning on having an in house nurse stay with me to ensure I could just barely function.
