They were professional and fast. Friendly. And took very well care of me.
My surgery at the Peachtree Orthopedics Surgery Center was a very good experience. Checking is was easy and everything was explained for what to expect. In pre-op, my nurse Ann explained everything to expect while carefully getting me ready for my operation. The anesthesiologist, Dr. Kress, came in and introduced himself, told me what to expect and ask if I have any questions. Recovery was...well I don't remember much there. Overall, they are very efficient and caring.
Dr. Silcox has done 2 spinal fusions on me, 2003, and 2012, with excellent results. I have herniated amother disc in 2026 and consulted with him in the office recently. He took 40-45 minutes to go through my medical condition and treatment options and answered all of my questions. He is a conservative doctor and will do surgery when necessary but does not push surgery and prefers other treatment options first. But when he has to do surgery, he is about the best around.
