Worst Moving Experience The absolute worst moving experience ever! We have used professional movers for more than 5 moves in the past 8 years- and this was a horrendous experience. They underestimated our job (lazy sales guy refused to come to our home to estimate) and after we paid a 10% premium to guarantee the price (what we always do when available) they tried to force us to pay their loss. WORST MOVERS EVER! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. After being called at 8:30am and told the truck would arrive an hour later, my entire day went down the drain thanks to Peachtree, its staff, and the owner. I offered the drivers directions originally but was told they had them. They then called twice completely lost naming roads I was unfamiliar with. Adverse Trend Similar problems as those below, broken Items, missing items, threats from the Operations Manager. I went to my homeowner's insurance agent and their response was that they have other insured customers that have had the same experience. There is a trend here so beware!
Professional Movers Owned locally and not one of those large national chains, so they are much cheaper, they will even provide boxes for you to use in packing. They wrap up all your furniture so it doesn't get damaged in the moving and are very curteous. Would highly recommend if you are moving locally.
Movers - They are really good movers for the Atlanta area. The associates are very friendly, but you need to inform them a couple of days before you are moving. They are very careful with your collectibles, antiques, and furniture. They are very quick and efficient and will make your move easy on you.
Peachtree Movers My husband and I moved a while back and wanted to share our great experience with those who are looking for a quality moving service. The movers were at our home on time, worked extremely hard during the move, and took great care with our belongings. Their extra care for our items and diligence on the job took lots of stress away from our move. Peachtree Movers exceeded our expectations.
Peachtree Movers Work Hard I used Peachtree Movers twice. In both moves, the they guys worked hard. They made sure all of my furniture and belongings were protected and safe. When it came to moving, they did not stop until the truck was loaded and unloaded. Moving homes is such a stressfull time, Peachtee Movers made both of my moves so easy. I will use Peachtree Mover again. In fact, when the time comes I will use them to move my offices, too.
Un-ethical Horrible customer nonservice. Be prepared to be called a liar over the phone by the Operations Manager if you are filing a claim against their so-called insurance. The insurance is worthless, if you claim damage, they say it was broken before the move. If you claim lost, they say it was never there! These guys are regulated through the PSC.
