I finally found a vet who doesn't just claim to know about guinea pigs but who actually does! The staff is all so knowledgeable and so sweet! I even got a discount because my guinea pig is a registered therapy animal and they see the bennifit of the animal and patient relationship! This place has my heart and I fully trust them with my piggies which is not any easy trust to get from me!
Dr. Billy Watts is the best vet I have ever used. Period.
Billie Watts, DVM, has been the only vet our border collie, Ben (7 yrs), has ever known. In the past 90 days Dr. Watts has treated Ben for a cancerous tumor and its secondary bone marrow/blood condition - a condition with an exceedingly high mortality rate. This week he declared Ben past the crisis - "out of the woods" so to speak.
