This inspector went out to do an inspection at one of our listings. The crawlspace door was locked therefore he decided to skip the crawlspace inspection all together and upcharge the client $195 to come back to do a Crawlspace inspection. He did not even attempt to contact the listing agent to ask where a key was or how to gain access. He simply responded by saying his time was money and he was unwilling to call anyone because it was an inconvenience to him. Real Estate Agent, ******* attempted to hide a broken concrete block foundation by blocking access to house crawlspace. The inspector located damage from exterior side of structure and reported to buyer accordingly thereby triggering *******'s negative review.
I hired Hitch ****** to do my home inspection. I was disappointed with his performance and I did a review on his site, Peachstatehomeinspection.com. First I believe he didn't do the inspection himself. I called him and gave him my realtor name and number so he could get in contact with her and they could go to the house and do the inspection. 1- I am the only employee at Peach State Home Inspections and did perform inspection myself. 2- I do not have any work relationships with buyers real estate agents. I do have work relationships with listing agents because they own the Supra key boxes that I use to access homes. 3- Cosmetic issues i.e. chips in paint on doors are not part of a certified home inspection. ired Hitch/ Peach State inspection to inspect a home that I purchased. Initially I though the inspection went well. That was until I moved into the home about a month and a half later. Since moving into the home I have found the following items that should have been addressed in the inspection. Leaky bathroom shower fixture. One Bathroom faucet inoperable. WARNING! DO NOT USE this company if you care about your health, nor have confidence that they will find all the problems or issues in your future home... he will not do a thorough inspection! He will not take photos, at all, he overlooks in plane sight / obvious problems, he will not go in crawl spaces or hard to reach areas. He gave 22 page report on a 8k sq foot home, which based on age and size should have been 3-4 times that.
