I was extremely disappointed with the "treatment" I received here. I had torn up the soles of my feet by walking on gravel for about 3 miles after an epileptic seizure (look up "post seizure confusion" if you're curious about why). I was in agonizing pain and couldn't walk. After waiting for 2 hours, I was finally seen by a doctor. He essentially glanced at my feet and said "eh, just stay off of them. Not a good experience at all. Had to be rushed in on Friday at 5 am and even though I was the only person in the lobby it still took 20+ min for me to be seen. I don’t mind waiting but after I was seen the nurses were very dismissive, refused to give me on fluids despite the fact that I was severely dehydrated and refused to give me water. at one point in the visit i was so out of it that my hands were fighting falling asleep and i was super dizzy clicking the help button. only for my nurse to come in 10 minutes after when i... read more
The dr. was rude and acted like I was faking my pain. He did not examine me but just dismissed me because I wasn't having a heart attack or a stroke . I will never go to that hospital again and do not recommend anyone going there.
I love this ER. I can't say enough good things about this ER. This is the ONLY er that i will come to. Even if I'm next door to a different hospital. This place gets patients in and out quick. Very attentive.
Overall, the hospital does a decent job given its limitations. I’ve always been seen fairly quickly, and the staff is generally attentive and have some professional staff. However, the emergency department is outdated and can get overwhelmed at times, especially since there’s no urgent care nearby to handle less critical cases. While they do their best, the lack of updated facilities and options in the area does make it challenging during busy periods.
