Awesome food with unique tastes and combinations.. Not your run of the mill diner/restaurant. Cozy, not cramped, intimate. Friendly service, food is hot - a big plus for me.. Music is a big bonus for those who like a different "sound".

Me and my wife go here almost every weekend for brunch. Best brunch in the Gastonia/Belmont area! Cornbread is the best cornbread I have ever eaten! Chicken and the coop poutine is perfect for brunch, but come hungry because you will surely leave full. Highly recommend anyone to go here for brunch on Saturday and Sunday. BBQ can come up a little dry sometimes but the sauces are delicious. The mac and cheese is cooked perfectly and the cornbread is a must have (it's so good I had to mention it again). My husband and I frequent Peace N Hominy whenever we get the chance. Great food and a wonderful atmosphere. The owners and staff are great and always make you feel right at home :) Seriously awesome spot!!
