I took my son here for a haircut and he complained about not going to the place he usually goes. He was so impressed with the service and attention to detail that this is now the only place he will go. The many years of experience and obvious love of the job pays off. ⭐six stars

Ok.... so I have been getting my hair cut at Rooks for the past 3 years. I was happy with the cuts that I was getting initially. But the place was getting more and more Goth and hard core. Lots of Tatoos etc. I also saw a barber yelling at a young kid. The one saving grace was my barber , Shelly. But then she left Rooks. Luckily I found out that she came here. Just had my first visit. I'm really grateful to have found Bill Boley and was glad to follow Shelly and Bill to the new shop. If you're particular about your style and your haircut requires old school technical skill and experience, Bill is your guy. He is immensely talented. I've had a lot of trouble finding a barber in Portland who can cut a taper---I like a 1930s-style long on top, short back and sides, which is a difficult style for modern barbers. Bill is probably the most perceptive pro I've worked with. He noticed things about my hair before ... read more
