My family and I lived in the Westport Woods complex for 7 years. The rent was reasonable for a 3 bd/2ba, 1st floor garden apt with a back patio. We were told the building was new construction. Everything was fine at first, until we discovered the electrical system was poorly designed, in such a way that we were unable to use the stove at the same time as countertop appliances. I have M.S.. and am in a wheelchair. It was so agonizing trying to find an apartment that met my needs with a staff that UNDERSTOOD and HEARD my needs. I had never worked with a reality company and was hesitant to do so.
