Joseph Sande saved the day. There was a very new nurse, just straight out of nursing school, who had SO MUCH trouble trying to draw blood from my son for his annual physical exam. She is a very nice girl, but the whole experience made my son so very NERVOUS. But Joseph Sande came in and took the blood himself, and his calming way quickly helped my son relax.
