My doctors office started using Healthtec Software's EMR systems about three years ago and I have seen a drastic improvement in wait times and the time between medical files being passed around between the hospital, doctors and nurses. I am highly impressed with the privacy and security and had a long discussion with my doctor about the pros and cons of an EMR system. There are really no disadvantages to the system.
