I'm giving one star because I'm kind. I have no idea what is going on at PCI. The providers are quitting, the care is deteriorating, and PCI continues to hire unqualified people. I have started all my care with the University of Iowa and their professionalism far exceeds what I experienced at your company. I call it a company because it is NOT a medical facility.
While getting an MRI, the Technician removed a medical device ( continuous glucose meter transmitter) from my body. Instead of putting it in a container they normally have for dentures, she just threw it away. This medical device is expensive - and is only replaced every 3 months. And when I called her attention to it - it was like she couldn't be bothered. Not even an I'm sorry I didn't know. -- these devices are pretty common and while I fault the company for not training their Techs, I fault the Tech for her attitude. Th... read more
