First visit to this clinic. Doctor makes me wait around for an hour while my mom is At home sick. I asked her, What’s going on that she’s an hour late? She tells me that she was on lunch. Why are you scheduling people on your lunch break? Despite big promises of many different treatments, This is just another lidocaine revolving door clinic. Dr. Akef is a horrible doctor. He evaluates you for 3 seconds and then assumes he knows everything about you. He continually pushed me to have injections at every appointment, but I told him I wasn't ready to go that route and wanted to try alternative treatments first. On my last appointment with him, he prescribed a new medication to me, and then discharged me back to my family physician without even having a follow up appointment to see how I was reacting. Would not recommend this location. It was hard enough having them receive my referral. They kept saying they didn't get anything. Then it took a month just to get an on the phone appointment. The nurse called me over an hour AFTER my appointment time. Which I missed and now I haven't heard back from them.
