The atmosphere was nice when we got in and slowing started to pick up later in the night. We started off with garlic bread which was amazing and so infused with flavor. I ordered the lasagna which was good and meaty. We also had ragu and gnocchi which were delicious and all astetically pleasing. Although the sauce for the gnocchi was very cheesy and heavy. Then came dessert and we ordered tiramisu which was very good but was also more on the creamier side and less on the coffee side. Overall Piazzo pomodoro was "molto bene!"
Great local spot with consistently good food and solid service. Try the pasta dishes!
It was late night so I only had the option of the limited menu and the fact that they're still serving fantastic food at midnight is mind blowing. Had the fried artichoke which was amazing. Like, I had no idea that an artichoke could be crispy and tender at the same time. I think I'll probably crave this for the rest of my life. Service was top notch at the bar with Lee and Chris.
