Friendly neighborhood vibe, fabulous service, great wine selection, authentic Italian food, large portions , live music near bar area , happy staff
My go to in the DMV area. The food is great, and reasonably priced. The staff is kind, friendly and well trained. The ambiance isn’t formal but is like dining with family. Favorites are any of the pizzas, the pappardelle all� bolognese and many of the weekly specials. And don’t forget an order of the back di sofia - little chocolate cups that are filled with an Italian custard and topped with a raspberry!
I ordered the following items -the fried mozzarella, Arancini, butternut squash ravioli, tri mousse cake and tiramisu - and was very disappointed. The mozzarella and arancini were okay but excessively oily (even for being fried). The taste of the ravioli was good, sweet and flavorful, but I struggle again with the amount of oil filling the bottom of the container. It was the tri mousse cake that resulted in this review.
