Definitely a "wow" experience for myself and my Suki! From the receptionist to the assistant at check-in to the doctor herself, the staff were incredible: understanding, friendly, patient -- they took the time to LISTEN first. This was our first visit since moving to Austin, and unfortunately it was due to illness (not just a new patient exam). I was overwhelmed by their sense of care and compassion. Fabulous staff, on the phone and in person. Loved our vet tech and Dr Rios, and my dog did not want to leave!
Dr. Rios was excellent, and I truly trust her care and expertise. However, due to my experience with the front desk staff, I will not be returning or recommending this clinic. After my appointment, I asked the receptionist for a summary of my dog's visit. She laughed and responded dismissively, saying, "What do you need a recap for? The instructions are on the medications the vet gave you," while handing them to me. Her tone and behavior were so unprofessional and made me feel stupid for even asking.
