Once again this Home Hardware building Centre is a “must visit” because when you enter as a patron; you leave as FAMILY”. Both Chuck and Jade made sure my crisis during Halifax’s snow storm. My snow blower’s chute chipped because a rock blew a hole into it. Being from Vancouver we had no tools and brainstorming with Chuck we were able to rig up a solid shield from a aluminum duct expansion ring by cutting it with tin snips and drilling holes with Chucks treasure chest of shop tools from the back. Bought a shovel that was benchmark brand 2 weeks ago. Used it first time yesterday. Corner chipped off within 5 scoops. Used second day. Blade split in half on 6th scoop. It still had the tag on the handle. Returned it and they said would not accept the return as it was not broken when I bought it (they are correct here!!). Only a 15 dollar shovel but hard to believe. An employee finally stepped up and offered to reimburse the shovel out of his own pocket. They would not give me money back but I put the credit toward another... read more
Great spot always have what your looking for
Highly advise you not to order anything via this group. I ordered a Frothpak open cell spray foam and was called a week late to come pick it up. Instead of Sprayfoam they had a soda stream drink maker for me. Wasting peoples time.
