Quick and a great value Early April, the speed/trans cable snaps. I drop it off to Mr. Payne on Monday, explain what happened, and he calls me the following Sunday - repair completed ! Very reasonable price, too. Other "authorized" repair shops couldn't find the part, or even my lawnmower (very common Honda Harmony.) Do yourself a favor: even if you have to drive a little further, Mr. Payne does the job right. (Hint: If you're punching his address into your GPS, use 90th St rather than 89th - GPS's don't have 89th St for som... read more
week end warrior good work done on my lawn tractor..has been keeping my Cub Cadet alive and running well for thr last twenty years... tThey rebuil the engine, replaced the crank shaft spring and assembly,replaced the front wheel bearing, front wheel turng pinions for both wheels, replaced a lost gas cap, replaced amower pulley bearing assembl and showed me ho to change the oil. Now I need a brake/cluth adjustent and I hope that he is still there. I don't think that I can find anyone else in this area like Kenny
Dad Kenny has been servicing any and all small motors required to run a household for our home the last ten years. Nothing but good to report. Lawnmowers are his specialty. PS He also has lawn service.
5 star service For $65, he cleaned, degunked, tuned-up and generally renewed my two-cycle snow blower last winter that was dead on it's wheels for a year, and I haven't had a problem with it since. Runs better and starts easier than when it was new. Owner gives you hints on how to keep it running well with little cost or time, and no mechanical know-how needed on your part. Business is run from a barn on the back of a large rural lot, so be patient when you look for the shop. It's worth looking for.
