Paws Staff offers sincere condolences to the Koch family on the recent loss of their 13 year old Jack Russell Rufus due to kidney failure. Rufus has been a regular boarder in W. Chicago for 5 years. He was a very sweet boy and when he stayed over he usually picked a friend for the day or the weekend and followed them around. He was very gentle and low-key for a Jack Russell and well-loved by all. Rest in Peace dear Rufus.

Official Donation Inspector. Rio knows what it’s like to be abandoned. True story: Rio was a HELP Kitty years ago I was fostering and fortunate enough to be able to bring to Paws during my shifts with her sister Harley only days old to bottle feed (every 2 hours) with the help of front office staff. I brought quite a few bottlefeds over the years and many of them found their forever homes with Paws Staff.❤️🥰
