Pam is AWESOME and the store is GREAT!!!! Pam is extremely knowledgeable about all of your pets needs and more than willing to work with you to find what works for your pet. If your looking to adopt a dog, then look no further than Pam at PITC in Cary, NC. Pam's adoption organization is top notch and the best we have ever worked with. The foster to adopt program and Pam's support is a true recipe for success.

Paws in the City is such a great company. The adoption process is the absolute best. I am very thankful for all of the foster families and what they do for these pets. I know it's super hard to love and care for an animal, only to see it go to another home. But I am grateful that they put as much time, effort, and love as they do. I want to thank Kristin Edwards for educating me on the many products that are available for my pets. It was truly an enjoyable experience!

Paws in the City has everything a dog or cat lover could possibly want. Pam is wonderful and has helped me find a food that works for my pups with allergies. She also is always full of helpful tips to make my dogs the healthiest they can be. Another plus of Pam is that she will always give you the most cost effective solution, even if it means she may lose some money in the process. For example, I came in for a slow feeder for my extra hungry dog and she let me know that while I could buy a fancy bowl, a cookie sheet works j... read more

Met a dog at an adoption event, filled paperwork, payed deposit, were told when delivery should happen. Just received call that foster person decided to keep the pup. Super unprofessional.

Business response:

I want to formally apologize for the unfortunate unfolding of the adoption situation with Nutella. I understand you have children and I understand you all met Nutella on Saturday, I also understand you brought $100.00 for your deposit to hold her yesterday so we could process the application. (Which was refunded in full to you today after our discussion) When we had talked yesterday we had set up a time for you to pick up Nutella on Monday night since I had not had a chance to do your reference checks yet, and that could pot... read more

Find it unreal that after all the paperwork was filled out, deposit was paid, and drop off time arranged that Paws In The City decided to let the foster still adopt the puppy our children fell in love with. The puppy never should have been brought to an adoption event if the fosters were wavering. They've had the puppy for weeks, and now they change their minds. Very upsetting. And so unbelievably unprofessional.

This place was such a delight to visit when I lived in Raleigh.Always kind, professional, and willing to help. They carry things difficult to find elsewhere and were excellent in helping me out when I called in a phone order and had someone pick it up for me! Thanks so much.
