SIMPLY THE BEST – Our dog has attended PAWS since April of 2009. Sherry and Walter and all the people at PAWS are the best. I would not trust anyone else with our dog. She LOVES it!

Friendly, personalized attention, uncrowded – I have brought my basset hound to many different day care and boarding facilities in the city and this one is my favorite. While I agree with the reviewer who commented that the rooms where the dogs stay are small and charmless, remember that what appeals to a dog is different than what appeals to us humans. Dogs dont appreciate pretty artwork or good lighting, but they do appreciate having a few friends that they get to play with regularly. My puppy is always RUNNING back to the... read more

Demand a tour, and decide for yourself - dark, tiny rooms. – I wanted to love Paws, I really did. But after visiting, I don't understand how people could have posted such positive reviews, if they had ever looked to see where their dogs were being kept. I took my pup to Paws today for the first time for their 6-hour day care, and asked the very nice employee if I could see where my dog would be spending her time. Another employee took me down to what seemed to be the basement level of the building (no windows), to a maze-lik... read more

best boarding/grooming in the city! – i take my 2 dogs and cat here for boarding when i go on vacation or have to travel for business. i also bring my 2 dogs for daycare so they can socialize and have fun. i get them groomed here too and they have 3 different groomers depending on which day you go. they are all good. when i pick up my dogs (maltese and shih tzu) they are always happy and waggly which was NOT the case with the last place i took them before. they pull me through the door and don't even look back when i leave. ... read more

great place – This place is beautiful and spotless. I love the people that work there. They all really care about the animals. I have an old pit bull with medical issues and they called me to tell me different things about my dog's condition while he stayed there. They were very on top of it-really knowledgable about medical issues. And they don't charge extra for administering medication which he needed when he was there. They brought him home for me and the guy who dropped him off could not have been more gentle with him. I... read more

Wonderful Staff! – I have been taking my dog to Paws In Soho for daycare and overnight care for quite some time and have been very pleased. I hate leaving him and he's not always a fan of being left but the staff at Paws In won us both over. They really seem to look after him - he is a little guy and a picky eater - so he needs that extra bit of attention. I've also used their grooming services and each time he looks great!

Do not take your pets here! – My puppy got sick when we boarded him at PAWS, respiratory and eye infection plus a nice case of round worms, but when I expressed my concern to the owner, she offered to pay a portion of the vet bill, so I wouldnt be left feeling like they didnt care. She was very nice, so I feel that maybe the problem was boarding my puppy, while his immune system was still weak. So cageless boarding in itself has its pros and cons. I wasnt happy with my overall experience at PAWS, but a sick puppy isnt anythi... read more

Could not believe that when I brought my dog in for grooming I found that carol the groomer was working at Soho now. Carol is by far the best groomer in the city. She has been grooming show dogs for almost 30 years and her reputation is well known. I have a terrier which requires stripping and when I left that store, I could have gone straight to the runway with him and he would have taken first prize. That is how amazing he looked. And he was having fun with the people at the front desk when I came to get him-he was not in ... read more

finally a stress free vacation while my dog and cat were at soho! – Incredible place-Incredible people....they called me to tell me my dog had an upset stomach the first day she was there. Then they called a day or two later to tell me she was relaxed and her stomach was back to normal. I called to check on her several times in the 10 days i was gone. They all knew her, told me what was going on with her. Never saw a group of people so on top of everything and SO nice. Had a great vacation and next time I wouldn't even bothe... read more
