Sent multiple emails and appointment requests for two months and was ignored for weeks. Was told that I was called and emailed which wasn't true because I check my email throughout the day and have never received a call. I don't think simply making an appointment and being seen should be this difficult especially since as a pet owner I should be able to trust a vet with my dog's care. We had a unique situation where an unhoused person needed veterinarian care for their well cared for and loved two dogs. One of the dogs was aggressive towards strangers and also was a senior that needed surgery. Both dogs received excellent care from Dr. Carithers with their tests; vaccinations and surgery. I had to put my senior cat down and for privacy sake I made an appointment with paws and claws come to my house. There was lack of empathy but worse the shot that was supposed to make her sleep before the lethal shot was nowhere near enough so when they try to give her the leaf one she jumped and scratched in the air in a state of panic.
